How much does a shower screen cost in Sydney?
Showerland's installed prices start at $880 for a frameless fix panel, with fully framed from $935 and semi-frameless from $990. A custom frameless screen (corner, diamond or tile-following cuts) runs from $1,400 to $3,850 installed, depending on size, shape and hardware.
The price difference comes from glass area, hardware finish (chrome is the base; matt black, brushed nickel and brass cost a little more), custom-cut shapes, and removal of the old screen.
How long until you can install my shower screen?
The installation itself takes about 2 hours once our installer arrives. We confirm your install date with you after the measure.
We're fully booked until Monday 3 November 2026. A deposit can still lock in your install slot from that date. Glass replacements and repairs are booking as normal.
Can a frameless shower screen hide the old holes from my previous one?
Honest answer: no, usually not. Frameless designs have minimal hardware, just small clear brackets, so old screw holes from a fully framed screen will often still be visible after install. We'll flag any hole that won't be covered during the measure so you know upfront.
If hiding old holes is a priority, a semi-frameless or fully framed screen has a wider frame profile that's much more likely to cover them. We'll talk you through the trade-off honestly, because we'd rather you know than be surprised.
Do you do custom shapes for unusual bathrooms?
Yes. It is one of the things we do best. We cut glass to match the actual angle of your wall, the splay of a sloped ceiling, and even zig-zag patterns that follow each tile. If the tiles step in and out, the glass edge can step with them. No silicone-filled gaps, no “close enough” compromises.
Bring us your strangest bathroom: angled walls, attic conversions, weird corners, tile features. We'll measure it and cut to fit.
Will my final price change after the measure?
No. The on-site measure is when we lock everything in: exact dimensions, hardware, glass spec, removal of the old screen, all of it. Once we hand you the firm quote, that's the price you pay. No surprise add-ons on installation day. If something genuinely unexpected comes up (rare, usually a hidden structural issue), we'll stop and discuss before doing any work.
Do you supply and install, or do I have to find an installer?
We do both. The same Showerland team measures, manufactures, delivers and installs your screen. That means if anything needs adjusting later, there's only one number to call, and it's ours. No “the supplier blames the installer, the installer blames the supplier” runaround.
