Corner Shower Screens Sydney: Cut to Your Corner and Installed
A corner shower screen is an L-shaped enclosure: two sides of glass meeting at a corner, with the door on one of them. Showerland cuts every corner shower screen to your measurements and fits it across Sydney from our Blacktown base, in frameless, semi frameless or fully framed glass. Frameless corner screens are custom shapes and run from $1,400 to $3,850 installed. Our 12 month workmanship warranty covers the installation.
Corner shower screen layouts
Pick the layout that suits your bathroom. Each one is cut from the exact dimensions we take at the measure.
Square corner
Two sides of glass at 90 degrees, one carrying the door. A 900 x 900 shower is a common size, and sizes in between are cut to suit. See our page on the square 900 x 900 corner.
Diamond
The screen sits on the diagonal, so the shower becomes a diamond shape instead of a square. It suits a bathroom with an angled wall. See the diamond layout.
Tile-following
The glass is cut to follow the line of your tiles, step for step, so there is no gap along the grout. Each one is a one-off shape.
Corner with a sliding door
The door runs on a track at the opening, so nothing swings into the room. It suits a small bathroom or a vanity close to the shower. Priced on measure.
Curved corner screens
We also supply curved (radius) screens. Instead of two sides of glass meeting at an angle, the glass rounds the bend in one curve. Each one is made to your measurements and priced on measure. Book the $55 measure, credited to your install, and we price the curve on your own bathroom.
Frameless, semi frameless or fully framed
A corner can be built in any of our three types. This is how they compare.
| Frameless | Semi frameless | Fully framed | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Glass and frame | 10mm toughened glass, held by hinges and brackets | 6mm toughened glass with a slim frame | 6mm toughened glass as standard, or 6.38mm laminated, in a full aluminium frame |
| Finishes | Hinges and brackets in chrome, matt black, brushed nickel or brass | Frame in chrome, matt black, white, brushed nickel, brass or gun metal | Frame in white, silver or matt black |
| Corner price | $1,400 to $3,850 installed; a sliding door is priced on measure | Priced on measure | Priced on measure |
| Type starts from | $880, fixed panel only | $990 | $935 |
The "type starts from" row is the starting price of the type, not the price of any one layout, and the three are different products, so they are not a like-for-like ranking. See our semi frameless shower screens or fully framed shower screens, or all frameless layouts. Book the $55 measure and we will price the one you like on your own corner.
What a corner shower screen costs
Frameless corner screens, diamond screens and tile-following screens are cut to a custom shape, and they run from $1,400 to $3,850 installed. Semi frameless, fully framed and curved screens are priced on measure, because the number depends on your bathroom and not on a catalogue.
Several things move the price. Size comes first, because more glass costs more. Shape is next: a square corner is simpler than a diamond or a screen that follows tile lines. The door matters, since a hinged door and a sliding door use different hardware, and so does the finish. If we are taking an old screen out, removal and disposal is part of the same quote.
The exact figure comes after we measure. Once we have measured, the price we quote is the price you pay. The measure visit is $55, and that $55 is credited to your install if you go ahead. If you want a figure before booking the visit, ask for a quote online or call 0421 717 044.
Measuring a corner
Glass is cut once, to your exact measurements, so the measure matters more than anything else. These are the points we check.
Is the corner square? Few are. We check the walls and floor for plumb and level at the top, middle and bottom, and the glass is cut to suit. For a diamond or tile-following screen we also measure the angle of the corner and mark the grout lines, because tiles rarely finish at the same height on both walls.
The door. A frameless hinged door tops out at 700mm wide and 40 kg. A wider side gets a fixed panel next to the door. We also check that the door will not hit a vanity or the bathroom door when it swings.
Height. Standard screen height is 2000mm. Taller screens are made to measure on request.
The floor and the drain. Water should run towards the drain, and a floor that falls the wrong way is the usual cause of water pooling at the door. We look at the fall and the position of the drain, because they decide where the seals sit.
Before we visit, clear the shower floor if you can, and tell us the finish of your tapware so we can talk through matching hardware.

Questions about corner shower screens
Frameless corner, diamond and tile-following screens run from $1,400 to $3,850 installed. Semi frameless and fully framed screens are priced on measure. The figure for your corner comes after we measure. Once we have measured, the price we quote is the price you pay. The measure visit is $55, credited to your install if you go ahead.
We cut the glass to suit. We measure the angle and check the walls for plumb, so a wall that is out of square, a diamond layout or a tile line that steps are all handled at the measure.
A 900 x 900 shower is a common size, and we cut sizes in between to suit your shower. Standard screen height is 2000mm, and taller screens are made to measure on request. A frameless hinged door is limited to 700mm wide, so a wider side is split into a door and a fixed panel.
Any screen can let a little water past the door edge. Three things control it: the fall of the floor towards the drain, the seals on the door edge and the bottom of the panel, and a tight fit to the wall. We check all three when we measure and fit seals on install, so a small splash at the door edge does not become a puddle outside the shower. If water is escaping after install, tell us and we will look at it.

Yes. A sliding door at the opening suits a small bathroom, because nothing swings into the room. It is priced on measure.
