High-quality shower screens, professional installation, no surprises. Please review the following important terms.
1Consultation & Measurement Fee
- A $55 consultation and measurement fee applies before placing an order.
- This fee is non-refundable and covers our expert's time and precision in taking measurements.
- Accurate measurements ensure a custom-made product that fits your space perfectly.
2Payment Terms
Material Cost
- Full payment for materials is required upfront before ordering your custom shower screen.
Installation & Additional Services
- The customer must pay the installation fees once the installation team reaches the site and delivers the product before installation begins.
- Please liaise directly with the installer who conducted the site visit for:
- Scheduling installation dates
- Addressing any measurement concerns
- Follow-up services
3Glass Quality & Minor Imperfections
- Minor scratches or imperfections not visible from a distance of 3 meters or more are considered acceptable and not defects.
- Glass surfaces may have slight texture variations that are not visually detectable, but feeling them by touching the glass is not considered standard. It does not affect the integrity of the glass.
- Customers are required to inspect the glass for any noticeable defects before installation completion.
4Inspection Policy & Customer Responsibility
- Customers must inspect the glass for visible imperfections while our team is on-site before the silicon sealing phase.
- Once the silicon sealing is applied, glass replacement will not be possible without extra charges.
- If there is an issue before silicon sealing, we will replace the glass at no additional cost.
5Design Considerations & Water Leakage
- We design Frameless and semi-frameless shower screens with a 3mm to 6mm gap around the door.
- These designs are not fully watertight, and some water spray may escape. This escape is considered normal and not a defect.
- To minimise water escaping, customers should take necessary precautions (e.g., adjusting shower head direction, using bath mats).
6Installation & Wall Surface Disclaimer
- Our installers take every measure to minimise marks or holes left by previous installations.
- However, due to past wear and tear, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of old holes or discolouration of tiles.
- Customers may need to replace affected tiles at their own expense if necessary.
7Custom Orders & Manufacturing Timeframe
- Custom shower screens take approximately three weeks to be ready after the site visit.
- This timeframe ensures high-quality craftsmanship and proper quality checks before installation.
8Warranty Terms & Coverage
- One-Year Warranty covers manufacturing defects and product quality issues.

Warranty does NOT cover:
- Glass (as maintaining its safety is beyond our control).
- Any call-out fees ($99, including GST) if required after the first week of installation.
- Labour costs for repairs — Warranty covers parts only.
- Customers must report issues within one week of installation to qualify for no-cost site visits.
9Installation Photos & Marketing Use
- Showerland may photograph the completed installation for use in our online gallery, suburb pages, and marketing materials.
- Published photos show the installed shower screen and surrounding fixtures only — they never include people, customer names, street addresses, or personally identifying detail.
- Photos are referenced by suburb (e.g. "Blacktown") rather than street, and EXIF metadata including GPS coordinates is stripped during upload.
- If you would prefer your photos not be used for marketing, simply tell the installer on the day, or email info@showerland.com.au before installation.
- You can request removal of any photo of your installation at any time, no questions asked, via our Photo Removal Request form. We aim to remove photos within 48 hours of a verified request.
- By proceeding with installation without raising a marketing-photo objection, you consent to the above use.
✓Final Acknowledgment
By proceeding with an order and installation, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the above terms. These policies ensure transparency, avoid disputes, and provide a hassle-free experience for both parties.
