Made to measure for the bathroom you actually have
A standard rectangular screen only works in a perfectly square opening — and almost no Sydney bathroom is. Walls lean, tiles step in and out, floors fall away to the drain, and corners are rarely a true 90°. Instead of hiding those gaps behind a thick bead of silicone, we cut the glass to match. Below is exactly how we customise every screen.
Glass that follows your tiles — not a silicone-filled gap
Tiles are rarely laid in a dead-straight line.
One tile in the middle of the wall often sits proud or set back from the rest — sometimes the whole wall bows out like a banana. A standard straight panel leaves a wedge-shaped gap that has to be packed with silicone. We cut the edge of the glass to step in and out with your tiles, so the screen sits tight against the wall with the thinnest possible silicone line. Less silicone means less mould, less cleaning, and a far sharper finish.
Cut to your wall's true angle — not just 90°
Most installers only cut a straight 90° corner. We cut the real angle.
Walls and floors often sit on an angle that's a little more or a little less than 90° — and a forced square panel ends up with a visible gap or a screen that won't sit plumb. We take a laser measure point by point down the wall and across the floor, capture the actual angle, and cut the glass to match it. The result is a screen that lines up cleanly top to bottom, with the most accurate finish possible.
Custom height — built to your tiles, not a fixed size
Standard isn't the only option.
Our standard screen heights are 2000mm for frameless and 1950mm for semi-frameless and fully framed. But if your wall tiles finish lower, we cut the screen down to sit neatly on the tile line — and if you'd prefer a taller, more enclosed shower, we build it higher.
- Above 2100mm high, Australian Standards require extra fixing — we add 3 or 4 wall brackets instead of two so the panel is properly anchored.
- A panel wider than 1200mm needs a support bar to brace the glass and stop any wobble over time.
Your choice of glass
The glass itself is part of the customisation.
Beyond standard clear toughened glass, we can supply a range of glass types to suit the look, privacy and performance you're after:
Starphire removes the green tint of standard glass for a crystal-clear look; Low-E resists watermarks and soap scum; fluted and narrow-line add texture and privacy; laminated adds an extra safety and acoustic layer. We'll talk you through the right glass for your shower at the measure.
